The Women's Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin
The Women's Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin was founded in October 2023 at the initiative of Prof. Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch, the founder and conductor of the renowned Choir of Maritime University of Szczecin. Since its inception, the group has been conducted by Dominika Mastalerczyk.
The choir consists of 35 female singers united by their love of singing and music. The members of the group are high school and university students, as well as women outside the academic community who find their passion and artistic expression in choral singing. Despite its short history, the group performs frequently in their city and the surrounding region, spreading the beauty of choral music. The choir's repertoire includes secular and sacred works, as well as arrangements of popular music.
On January 16th, the Women’s Choir won a silver medal at the National Christmas Carols and Pastoral Songs Competition in Chełmno.

Dominika Mastalerczyk - the conductor of the Women’s Choir of Maritime University of Szczecin founded in 2023, the violinist and assistant conductor of the Choir of Maritime University of Szczecin (conducted by prof. Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch). She graduated from the Ignacy Jan Pederewski Primary and Secondary Music School in Stalowa Wola, where she studied violin. From 2006 to 2012 she was a member of the “Mały Cantus” Children’s Choir and the “Puellarum Cantus” Girls’ Choir. Between 2017 and 2019, she studied Artistic Education in Musical Art at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. In 2024, she received a Master of Art degree from the Faculty of Music Education at the Academy of Art in Szczecin in the conducting class of prof. Barbara Halec. She completed her diploma in choral conducting graduating with distinction. In the same year, she also completed her Master’s degree at the Faculty of Instrumental Studies, studying in the violin class of prof. Mariusz Derewecki. She is currently further developing her conducting skills by working alongside conductor Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch in the Choir of the Maritime Univerity of Szczecin. Since September 2025, she has been studying jazz violin under supervision of Amalia Obrębowska at the Faculty of Jazz and Music Production at the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
