Chamber Choir of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts (Kalisz) of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland
The Chamber Choir of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz, Adam Mickiewicz University was founded in 1996 and its founder and conductor is Beata Szymańska. The ensemble consists of students and graduates of the Faculty of Artistic Education in Musical Art. The choir gives concerts both in Poland and abroad (Germany, Italy, Sweden, Macedonia, Spain, Romania, Greece). It takes an active part in competitions and festivals, winning numerous awards. The choir's repertoire includes music of different periods. The ensemble has repeatedly cooperated with the Symphony Orchestra of the Kalisz Philharmonic performing works by W.A. Mozart, G.G. Gorbachev and others. Mozart, G.G. Gorczycki, W. Kilar, Z. Preisner, G. Fauré. The choir has recorded albums: Polish Carols, Mass Lauda Sion - G.P. da Palestrina, Concerto Agnus Dei for bassoon and mixed choir a cappella - Egil Hovland (Polish premiere) - together with Nikodem Antosik (bassoonist of the Kalisz Philharmonic) and Da pacem - Michael Vilmow (Polish premiere). The choir is also a co-organizer of the Kalisz Choral Festival.

is a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz of Adam Mickiewicz University Chamber Choir, a long-time conductor of the Polifonia Students' Choir of Kalisz, the founder and conductor of the WPA AMU Chamber Choir in Kalisz, with which she has won numerous awards at both national and international (Italy, Germany, Macedonia, Romania, Spain, Greece) competitions. Her repertoire interests include contemporary choral literature specifically. She is also the organiser and artistic director of the Kalisz Choral Festival and a juror of regional choral and vocal competitions.
